Arizona’s SB1404 fundamentally changed the landscape for Level 1 registrants
Are you or your family affected by Arizona’s SB1404?
This law expands notification requirements for certain registered individuals and those with child custody.
We are seeking participants to confidentially share their experiences with a researcher working alongside legal advocates to challenge SB 1404.
This article is about something that AZRSOL is doing to help offenders and families understand this Bill.
We [AZRSOL] have received an extraordinary opportunity from Dr. Kristen M. Zgoba, Ph.D., a respected researcher from Florida International University’s Steven J. Green School of International & Public Affairs. Dr. Zgoba is gathering critical information specifically from individuals and families affected by Arizona’s SB1404 to support the lawsuit challenging this law.
Your participation could be instrumental in winning this lawsuit and protecting your rights and the rights of others in similar situations. The court needs to hear from those who have been directly impacted by this law. Your experiences, challenges, and the real-world consequences of SB1404 are critical evidence that can help demonstrate the law’s harmful and disproportionate impact.

Arizona MVD a Bit Unusual
Make sure you know current requirements. You can go to your Sheriff's Office website to see if there is new information there. If so, we suggest you do a screen print and save it. Call your registry office to get clarification on any questions you might have. Document the date, time, who you spoke with and their instructions regarding any address change, vehicle, employment, travel dates if required, etc.
Keep in mind if you are required to update your drivers license annually through the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) you should contact them for their status.
