SB 1404
Requires registered sex offenders (Sex Offenders) with legal custody of a child to provide name and enrollment information on the child and expands mandatory community notifications to include level-one Sex Offenders convicted of a dangerous crime against children.This bill hurts families who have reunified, and/or who have rehabilitated. This bill would hurt innocent children who are at school, and who would be terrorized by their peers. It subjects individuals who have been assessed as level one and having minimum risk to community notifications.This bill has been sent to the governor for her signature and if she is to veto it she must do so by the 30th.Contact Governor Hobbs requesting that she veto it.
